This evening we introduce you to Barcelona’s Tablao Cordobés, a living, vibrant school of Flamenco. It has become one of the most important dance schools, achieving international recognition.Founded in 1970 "Tablao Cordobés” is considered to be a very demanding form of Flamenco style. Great Flamenco figures such as Farruco, Camarón, Manuela Carrasco, Mila de Vargas and Lole y Manuel have performed here.
The humble wicker chairs you will sit on are a reproduction of the ones present in these gatherings. The vaulted architecture of the room, simulating a cave, allows the characteristic natural sound of flamenco, to come across the space clean and vibrant.

Tablao Cordobes, located towards the bottom of La Rambla, is easy to get to via the metro and put on an excellent show! I purchased the ticket+drink option and attempted to show up early to get a good seat but so did most of the people attending the show. It might be possible that those who purchased a ticket+dinner ticket got better seats as they were already there prior to the start of the show.
I was seated to the right of the stage and had a fairly decent view. I did not have a table to place my drink on so I had to hold my (delicious) sangria for the entire show. Talented dancers, singers and musicians! Intimate setting! I recommend!02/13/2023 -

The show was great; however the food was lacking. The buffet was set up in Avery small room and when 40 people try to eat at the same it was frustrating. You could not wait because you would miss the show. The wait staff at Flamenco Tablao were very good.
